1. Download Zune Video Converter Suite for free or Get the Full Version, install and run.

2. If you'd like to convert DVD to Zune, insert your DVD movie, click 'Open -> Open DVD' button to load it into the program.

3. Set converting mode you like
* Rip the whole DVD to Zune, convert the whole video files to Zune: Use the default value, that is to say, 'start point' is 0:00, 'stop point' is the total time of the DVD movie.
* Rip/convert just partial segment: Click 'Options -> Set start, stop times for recording', or straight drag the video playback controls.

4. Output settings
* Select Zune video format: Click 'Options -> Output settings', choose the target file format from 'WMV' (supported by Zune natively, recommend), 'H.264' and 'MPEG4'. Here, you can also set bitrate, frame rate, brightness, volume and more.

Tips: The H.264 codec can create smaller file, but the encoding speed will be slower. The ripping speed using 'WMV' or 'MPEG4' codecs will be faster.

* Lauguage: Click 'Options -> Audio'.
* Subtitle: Click 'Options -> Subpicture'.
* Resolution: Zune can only play videos up to 320x240, so use the defualt setting.
* Output folder: Click 'File -> Set output file name and location', the default value is C:\Temp.
